WWDC 2013: Expectations and Live-Blogging

Hey guys, here we are for another exciting year of WWDC! With all the hype around this WWDC, it`s stacking up to be the biggest one yet! I honestly can`t wait to see what they come out with this time around.
New MacBook Airs and Retina Pros are expected this time around, from Apple, both with the new Intel Haswell processors, that are expected to greatly extend your battery life by 50 percent. (Always a plus on mobile computing) Also, the Mac Pros are expected to have a long-awaited refresh, too.

iOS 7 is going to be a major talking point for not only consumers, but also for developers. Since the discharge of former iOS commander Scott Forestall, Sir Jonathon Ive has assumed the position and is greatly anticipated to be the savior of the "dull" OS.

iOS 7 is expected to be a radical departure from what we`ve come to know and love/hate. Rumors have been churning in the blogosphere. After months of speculation, the rumors have settled down to some main, core principles : flat, simple, easy to use. All of these aspects have been at the very core of all of Apple`s products and it is good to see that it is now carrying further into iOS through a refresh in its iSoftware.

iRadio has been an up-and-coming rumor that I personally hope comes to fruition. Reports are that Apple just closed a deal with the Sony Music label, and that all is finally set for the launch of iRadio. Now, besides being really cool to say(take a moment and say it to yourself), this would be a major blow to many third party music streaming services such as Spotify and Pandora, if iRadio was successful. Assuming that it is, much like most of the things Apple does, then it will be well received.

To get into the WWDC spirit (if you haven't already) head over to iDownloadblog to check out some really neat wallpapers that they`ve put together that have the iOS "7" on them. (Picture to the right)

As you know, from previous WWDC`s and product announcements, MacRepublic does not have the privilege of bringing you live blogging as the products are unveiled. However, we`ve brrought you the next best thing : a compiled list of some 10 Tech blogs that do have live blogs. Below is a list of the some of the sites that I compiled that are live-blogging :
We hope you find this list useful. Check back tomorrow for news of WWDC 2013! Don`t forget to take the poll on what you think is the most exciting part of this year`s WWDC announcements.
