4 Easy Steps to Learning Facebook's New Design

Have you been trying to use Facebook for the past two hours but have absolutely no idea how to use it anymore? Well, don't worry. Facebook continually tries to make their site better, but it turns out to be just a new lesson for all of us to learn. We will try and keep up with them as they update, but in the meanwhile, here is the summary of the latest update last night.

First: The new notifications. I don't know how recently you've been on Facebook, but if you've been on in the last 24 hours, you've probably noticed a change. On the other hand, you may not! I don't see this in my browser, but you probably do. It has all of your notifications for recent things all in one adjustable square right above the new chat box. Why? I don't know.

Second: Lets go with the new Top Stories. Facebook has hacked into that little brain of yours that is staring at a screen all day, and sucked what you like best straight out of it. Yep, it now guesses, almost correctly, what you like! It has a brand new section for Top Feeds: Right at the top of the page. You can press the little blue tab at the top of any post to say that you like that type of post, and it will revise it's guessing to make it... better.

Third: Lists. Google+ made Facebook mad, Facebook gets revenge, now Google+ will get revenge, so on, so forth. We all know how this goes. Now you can have "Lists" on your left side bar, and it will show you only the posts of the people in that group. It has smart groups, like lets say you work at JC Penny. Well, any of your friends that also work there will show up there too! You can also create lists, and edit them.

Fourth: Subscribe. So lets say you want to stalk someone on Facebook. Before, it was kind of hard. Well now, Facebook made it about five times easier. Now you can subscribe to people's walls, even if your not friends with them! Of course they can choose which posts to send out to subscribers, but who will know the difference! Some hacker will find his way into everyone's personal feed using some trojan that makes all of their posts go public. Who knows! Maybe you'll find your first secret admirer!
